Photo above taken south west of Palermo, December 13, 2002. Mountrail Soil Conservation District New Web page: Welcome to the first ever web page for the Mountrail Soil Conservation District. Please excuse any errors or other strange happenings that you may see from this initial setup. Some of these include the newsletters that are accessible within this web page. The format they were written in doesn't match html format the best. The Mountrail Soil Conservation District seeks to stay current with the technology of today. The supervisors for the District hope you enjoy our website and can gain valuable information from it.Tree orders for 2002: Tree orders are now being accepted for the planting season of 2003. On this website is listed trees available as handplants and tall replacements and the current prices. If you desire an order form please feel free to email me at the address listed below and one will be sent out as soon as possible. Please note that we generally only sell to those landowners that have property within the District's boundaries.New Services: When I originally created this webpage this service was new. The District is now on its third year with its no-till grass drill. It has the capabilities to seed all types of cool season and warm season grasses. A separate box for seeding legumes is also included on the drill. A picture of the drill is available on the services web page.Related Links page : There is a lot of information on this page and a lot more I will be added in the near future. There are websites for those wanting to know the latest on the farm program. Websites for those wanted to know more about conservation tillage and websites for those wishing to know more about trees and shrub varieties. Many of the sites are much more interesting than their title would suggest.Note: Due to inappropriate emails received through an email address that was listed on the bottom of this page I have removed the email address. Sorry for the inconvenience.
